With oodles of character, five bedrooms across three floors, and a stunning mezzanine level calling for a show-stopping feature piece, this was a large-scale project with an exciting brief…
As a new build ski chalet in the heart of the French Alps, the design seamlessly combines the rustic charm and character of the mountains it sits in – think cow bells and vintage skis – with a modern twist.
Built and designed as a family home, the project called for quality, statement pieces to compliment the scale of the build, but still needed to feel comfortable enough for everyday living.
Working closely with our clients through the consultation process, our team were able to immerse themselves in the project and come up with a bespoke solution to meet the brief.
We put forward a selection of unusual statement centre pieces to deliver the impact the client wanted, perfectly paired with ambient table lamps and wall fittings to create a comfortable space to come home to and slip off the ski boots after a hard day skiing.
Not forgetting the practicalities of everyday living we were also able to recommend and supply halogen downlights to add the right amount of light to this modern space, bathroom and kitchen lighting, as well as outdoor lighting to light up this impressive build.
